A tilt-rotator is a device that installs on an excavator between the bucket or other attachment and the arm. It adds the ability to tilt the attachment sideways and to rotate it continuously to any desired orientation, allowing the operator to use the machine as dexterously as their own hand. This logical fulfillment of the excavator concept, has been in use for decades. However, as manufacturing processes and electro-hydraulic controls have improved they are increasingly becoming more refined.
